Grand Oaks Harvest Festival

Cassie and other youth leaders volunteered their time at the Harvest Festival, running booths like the Carousel Jump House and Ring toss. They handed out candy and prizes.

What is our organization all about?

Our Organization is a part of the City of Shasta Lake called "The Shasta Damboree"  www.ShastaDamboree.org

The Shasta Damboree Youth Leadership program is more than just the Traditional Royalty and Scholarships. We have a yearly parade and festival for the Shasta Dam Workers the first weekend in May. In 2008 our youth leaders had over 500 hours of community service together.  We not only create events for our local youth we also participate in Fundraisers for local organizations,  such as the United Way, Central Valley Falcons Pop Warner League, and  the Shasta Lake Parks and Recs Department. If you or someone you know would like to get involved and create awareness of how amazing our youth are in our small community come to one of our meetings, Monday Nights at the Senior Center, check the Calendar as we sometimes change the location.
