Who Are We?
Our Organization is an extension of "The Shasta Damboree" www.ShastaDamboree.org called the Shasta Damboree Youth Leadership Program. Youth leaders are actively engaged in problem-solving activities that teach decision-making, communication, organizational and cooperation skills.
The Shasta Damboree Youth Leadership program is more than just the Traditional Royalty and Scholarships program. We celebrate with a yearly parade and festival for the Shasta Dam Workers the first weekend in May. We not only create events for our local youth we also participate in Fundraisers for local organizations, such as the Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce Friday Night in the Park, and fundraisers for the Shasta Lake Fire Fighters Association. We raise money to purchase toys for Shasta Lake's Children's Christmas Party. Over 350 Children in the Shasta Lake area will receive a toy from Santa.
